About MICappella:
MICappella is not only an A cappella group, it is also a true Vocal Band that represents Singapore’s next step in Contemporary A cappella music. MICappella performs and records with microphones, creating explosive sound effects that is found in rock and club music. MICappella consists of 6 members namely, Juni Go, Lee Ein Ein, Calin Wong, Eugene Yip, Peter Huang and Ng Wei Jin.

Gosh, we’ve got so much we want to achieve by 2011, and it’s just so hard to believe that ‘next year’ is only less than 2 weeks away!
2010 has been fantastic and extremely eventful. We’ve learnt so much, made so many wonderful new friends, been through emotional roller coaster rides, suffered the heartache of losing money, downed too much coffee, and stumbled over/bruised by so many hurdles. We’re still finding our way with this mission that we have, taking baby steps, hoping to make a difference to the world around us.
Never mind the broken shoes, the cuts and burns on the hands, the money that only seems to be going out and not coming in, the crankiness derived from worrying everyday about what we are still doing wrong. What matters is that each day we wake up, we remind ourselves that we would still rather be going through all these than what we had been doing before. If life were to end tomorrow, at least there would be no regrets =)
OK, enough with the serious and solemn stuff =P
2011.. plenty in store at CW! We’ll keep you in suspense for now, heh heh but we’re gonna make ourselves work even harder, so that we can keep our dream alive for a long time to come.
But firstly, to keep that dream alive, we need you guys to come eat more often!! Please come!!

其實很多路過或來店裡吃飯的人，經常會以為我們是民歌餐廳，要不就是 Internet Cafe，甚至是 Karaoke Cafe.
如果要我們用幾個字來形容瘋狂世界是什麼、我們想達到的是什麼、我們希望帶個大家的是什麼，應該只能說，是夢想和誠意。
我們不是一個能夠提供你多種餐點選擇的餐廳，不過我們用心來準備每一道食材，希望給你最新鮮，最有誠意的食物、不一樣的醬料、不帶防腐劑的飲料、還有新鮮出爐又不過甜的糕點。有時開店前兩個小時開始忙到下午四五點才做得完所準備工作，好好吃個飯。而辛苦了一整天候，發覺其實賺的錢也不多，就會開始問自己，我們的執著是否是對的？我們的誠意大家吃得到，感受得到？還是大家寧可菜單選擇較多？
坦白說，為了夢想，餐廳成了我們用來生存、長久幫助其他設計師和歌手、樂團及樂手的經營方式。
我們不是個音樂主題餐廳，因為我們沒有柱唱歌手也不會每晚都有人表演。我們也不相信邊吃飯邊看表演的模式，因為台上一分鐘台下十年工，表演者的努力和用心是值得大家靜靜坐下來聆聽和欣賞的。
我們是個載著許多人的夢想世界和表演空間，任何人都能做回自己，以最簡單最自然的方式與欣賞自己音樂的朋友們互動。雖然現在每個月的演出不多，可是我們相信這小島是人才濟濟，還有好多很棒的音樂人等著我們去挖掘、去支持。到時，你會買票來看嗎？
我們不是個應有盡有的生活飾品零售店，可是我們帶著所有設計師用心思考的創意和誠意給大家。或許你所看到的不比商場裡面的飾品便宜，可是這些都是設計師們辛苦製作、親自包裝、與工廠來回檢查產品的品質，甚至是討價還價來拉底零售價的成品。
每個人都有夢想。只是你選擇隱藏你的夢想還是選擇讓它發芽發光？
我們不是有錢人，不是什麼大人物，也不是生意人。可是這些都不重要！因為我們是瘋狂的人，愛做瘋狂的夢，路上也讓我們發覺這世界上竟然有好多和我們一樣瘋狂的你們。而你們也成為了我們每天起床、到店裡從早忙到晚、回到家也忙到上床睡覺為止的最大最大動力。 雖然產品或掌聲不屬於我們，可是我們是最快樂最滿足的。
自從開始還租金的那一天，我們就已經開始和時間賽跑，一定要在資金花完之前讓生意上軌道，一個月能賺回本錢就代表我們能生存多一個月。這條路我們其實也不知道能走多久，可是只要我們還撐得住，只要大家還是有夢想，只要世界上還有一個人相信我們，瘋狂世界永遠都會在 =)
開業的第四周，也是音樂祭的一週後，終於有時間坐下來，好好寫blog來謝謝大家。
今天週五晚上人好多，很感動看到大家願意光顧又不嫌棄我們這小店～ ＝）
在這短短的四個星期，我們已經欠下了一輩子的人情債，怎麼還都還不清了!
可是這也是我們人生中最豐富的四個星期。
從9月21號開業那一天，每天忙著營業最基本的工作… 打掃店面, 準備食物, 訂購食材, 做賬等等，同時還要籌備音樂際的音響設備，賣票，宣傳, 好多好多事情，真的是累上加累。好在我們身邊有一群很相信我們，也很願意無私的貢獻出他們的時間，精力還有金錢的朋友，來幫助我們。沒有你們，我們該怎麼辦！我們真的沒辦法給你們太多，只能一直不停的說謝謝謝謝謝謝謝謝謝謝!!
內心裡，我真的覺得虧欠大家太多了。也因為這樣，我們絕對不能辜負每個人對於瘋狂世界的付出，就算再累我們也要拼下去！愛拼才會贏～～
謝謝你們讓我們成功的舉辦了這第一個小型的音樂祭，也希望往後還有機會讓它慢慢成長，讓更多人認到我們小島上的好音樂。
